About Voice On Demand
As Biggie Smalls once said, "It was all a dream!"—until it wasn’t.
In October 2020, Voice On Demand was born. And while I’d love to say it was created out of pure optimism, the truth is, it came from something deeper—a determination to make sure no one else had to go through the rocky introduction to VO that I did.
A so-called "coach" caught me at the wrong time on the right day. Their words shattered my confidence and convinced me that my voice had no place in this industry. I believed them. I sold my equipment, walked away from VO, and thought that chapter of my life was closed for good.
Fast forward to June 2020—my life coaching company, now called The Goal Setters Success Club, kicked off a 30-day challenge. A friend mentioned she was doing 30 days of VO, introduced me to her coach, and just like that—VO came back into my life. That coach became my coach. And the rest? History.
By God’s grace, my success happened fast. Before I knew it, people were asking me how to get started. And just like that, Voice On Demand became more than just my journey—it became a movement, a community, a place where voices are empowered. I made ALOT of mistakes when I started my VO journey. Some of them were inevitable, some were avoidable, and to be honest many were caused by improper coaching and training. I wish I had a simple pdf that showed me the "do's and dont's" of starting a VO career, and when I see a problem I jump to solution finding before I can think twice.
